Went to Connect at the weekend and it was brill. Kasabian fuckin ROCKED the whole crowd (after a great “warm-up” by the Manic Street Preachers lol).

Saturday at Connect was a bit of a disappointment in terms of live bands for me, so much so I would have gave the entire day for one more song by Kasabian. Might be a bit harsh because Block Party was OK but not a headline act for me.

I was totally fucked tho and not a music journalist - Kasabian just seemed to deliver

The scenery and makeup of the crowd still makes it a good festival, but I think they made a mistake with the Saturday lineup.

The food again was excellent, and the after show parties going on in the tents (esp the Kopperberg Tent) was brill - kept me at it for a few more hours
