I had to laugh the other day. I normally check up on who’s ranking for the top terms in Google for keywords I’m interested in and you see plenty of companies doing the following:

Yes! Just listing these keywords, as above, so Google picks them up (it’s an old seo trick) and so the site now ranks for these terms (if the domain / page is strong enough).

Yeah I know, I’ve just joined them, but it’s lazy seo, probably not “the best way” of doing things, but it sure works at the moment!

The reason I laughed is just when was the last time the seo company in question checked Google to see the results matched what they claimed (which is impossible as the top rankings are always in flux).

I think a few of the companies are displaying a hundred results per page to get their site on page 1 and 2 as well :)
These type of pages probably only serve to make customers actually check the results and see, that in fact, this company isn’t the best in Google. I hope they do!
