My quick 10 minute test to see how stiff the competition is for the term Advertising Agency, Scotland in Google provided quick and simple results. It’s not.

Sure, there’ll be an element of fresh content boost in there, but that can be reinforced with simple internal and external linkbuilding. I’d expect positions to go up and down (and the post to even disappear for a while) but it’s clear at least it wouldn’t take much experience to take on the ad agency competition.

It appears I’m on the first / second page for “Advertising Agency, Scotland” after 5 minutes of seo - writing - of course, there might not be any traffic. I thought it would be neat to find out what would happen if I tried again immediately, for the same advertising agency related term. Would I get a double listing in Google serps? Lets see….
