The Best Hobo Web Blog Posts of 2007
Posted by ShaunzoI’m about to effectively take a break from blogging. The inordinate time I seem to ‘waste’ blogging (’cause I am a bit obsessive) and reading quality sites like Sphinn, Search Engine Land and SEOMoz, constantly learning SEM (keeping up?) when I should be ‘doing’, will be changing a bit in 2008.
I can’t be bothered turning my blog into a ‘he said this’ so ‘here’s my take’ blog or a top ten blogeramma tips carnival. It takes a lot of time for me to think up the posts I want to write, and more and more I see ‘dumbed down’ posts like this post about ‘The SEO Bloggers First Posts On Their Blogs‘ (currently being Stumbled and possibly about to go hot on Sphinn) trump more thoughtful (and so ignored) posts like my thoughts on ‘SEO Theory & Hot Sites‘ (whether that’s bollocks or not).
So I’m taking a break for a while (after one last article) and just concentrating on my clients work for a few weeks. No more blogging. No more SEO competitions. I’m not pissed off, just tired of the whole blogging game. I like it, I’ve just not got the time I want to devote to it.
