Some people are just fucking simple. A guy leaves a perfectly valid comment on the hobo-web.co.uk site concerning the recent PageRank shuffle. His site went to 3 after he checked, and commented that in my article I said the hobo-web.co.uk had a PR of 7 when in actual fact we had a 5.

Yes I HAD a Visible Toolbar PR 7 in August when I wrote the fucking article (which is clearly displayed next to the big fucking title) - Doh!! And that’s what happens in a Google PR update. Sites go up and sites go down, as the ping backs (which say the Hobo site’s PR has been devalued) in the article must have illustrated (if he had bothered to look).

Instead of answering the comment, and considering putting a disclaimer in my blog which states (”correct at the time of fucking writing”) I thought fuck it - you’re history.

He could have had a good link there (and he need it).

I’m considering this page as my disclaimer page. So here’s a couple of “rules” for posting on this blog (and any other of the blogs I run):

  1. Read the article
  2. At least glance at the other comments
  3. Note the date and consider I don’t have the time to go back and change every little fucking thing to keep the site up to date. Important things will be kept up to date as possible. For instance, the PR of any single page is not important.
  4. If I like your comment you’ll get a search engine friendly (as far as I can tell) link back to your site.
  5. Spam me or make stupid comments or piss me off or unnecessarily slag anybody unnecessarily or I question your motives in any way or you’re wasting my time and you’re comment is gone.
  6. I can remove or clean up comments whimsically (how do you like them apples?)
  7. If you’re here to build links, I don’t actually mind, if you leave a useful and proper comment, which adds to the value of the page or discussion.

I’ll add to this later (and link to it).

Oh, and if you post a comment, by posting, you agree to be bound by all my terms, for instance,

  1. You still own the comment and are 100% responsible for it (the comment) but I can use it in any way I want
  2. I’ll remove comments if you ask me nicely and
  3. I’ll consider removing posts if they hurt your feelings or business (if you can point out the article is being unfair to you)

I’ll add to these later too.

PS - I will change this at any point in the future so be warned

This disclaimer covers this blog from the earliest article. If you don’t like it, sue me. Or get in touch. I don’t bite (unless I am actually physically fighting you).
